Georgia Bail Bonds

Georgia statute provides that the sheriff of each county has the sole authority to admit bail agents to their county.  Most sheriffs require a significant cash deposit as security for writing a Georgia bail bond even when backed by a corporate surety. This arrangement does not allow for the posting of Georgia bail bonds in neighboring counties where our agents have not been approved by the sheriff.
