In the lobby of American Surety Company’s Indianapolis Home Office hangs a plaque recognizing the years of service of our team members in increments of five, ten, fifteen, twenty and twenty-five years and above.  Soon a name will be etched under the twenty-five year level, Gary W. Logue.

Gary or G.W., as I often call him, began working at Underwriters Surety, Inc. in March, 1990, shortly after obtaining his degree from Purdue University, ironic because Gary’s an ardent fan of Indiana Basketball.  He fit in immediately.

Gary was a God’s send for me personally because he joined our team at time when USI was in its fourth year of existence and we were extremely busy.  It wasn’t long before Gary and I were sharing after hour’s on-call shifts, a week at a stretch, while still putting in full days at the office.  He acclimated himself in good time on bond underwriting and forfeiture management and soon became an essential member of our team.

Over the next twenty-five years USI and American Surety Company evolved into a major player in the surety bail industry.  During this time Gary established himself as one of the elite members of our staff with high marks for service, in particular.  If I heard it once I heard it a thousand times from our agent partners how appreciative they were of Gary’s easy going style and eagerness to accommodate.

We’ve been fortunate at ASC-USI to maintain a high employee retention rate creating a family environment where everyone works well and efficiently as team.  Gary’s wealth of knowledge and leadership qualities has contributed greatly for the top drawer service for which ASC-USI has become known.

Gary is our Vice President of Underwriting and I’m proud to call him a friend. Congratulations Gary on 25 years of service.  It’s has been and continues to be a pleasure working with you.  You are truly an original.

Running a large company is surely no easy task especially in a 24 hour 7 day a week business. Kudos to mike for this acknowledgement. We as owners of such large operations are only as good as our help.! I can honestly say in my dealings with Gary he has always gone above and beyond to accommodate a bail agents needs. We all should be blessed with one Gary Logue on our team as that will allow the owner to be able to sleep well at night.

Wow, 25 years, sure has gone by fast. Seems like just yesterday when I first heard Gary's comfortable voice on the phone (I didn't get to meet him personally for a period of time until USI actually let him out of the office to attend a PBUS conference in Vegas).
I can tell you, he hasn't changed a bit. I enjoy very much talking with an ole friend like Gary and his sincere style of providing his best for us Agents.

I have had the privelage to work alongside Gary for the past 9 years. Gary truly has a great heart and would do anything for his friends, coworkers and even strangers. One of the main reasons I enjoy coming into the office everyday is to talk about work, sports, faith and just life in general with this guy. He took me on my first audit trip to Georgia where we traveled from office to office to meet with our agents. I learned how to provide the best service I can to my agents from Gary's example. It has been a blessing to call Gary a great friend, somebody I can count on. Thanks to Mike for recognizing Gary's contribution to making ASC a great company to work for and with.

Because of people like Gary, I have been able to continue in this industry for going on 20 years . I a oersonal note, I consider Gary not only my boss, but a personal friend.. What makes Gary sucessful is that he truly cares for us agents.. Thank You Gary, we love you brother !!!

A special Congratulations to my dear friend of over 35 years. Gary and I have been friends since high school. I've had the opportunity to work with Gary at American Surety for the past five years. His twenty five years of service truly shows the commitment he makes not only in his profession but also to the personal and professional relationships he has developed through the years. He is loyal and dedicated and his commitment to excellence in everything he does is evident. It's such a great honor to know him and call him my friend.

Gary is one of the most honorable and hard working guys I've ever had the pleasure to get to know over the years. I operate a large general agency which means I am always in contact with ASC and Gary is the one I talk with the most. ASC is truly blessed to have so many good people working in their company and Gary Logue is a prime example of that. Thank you Gary for being a great friend. I hope you are around for another 25 years or at least as long as I'm still working.

Thank you for such kind words Mike - ans also for selectively forgetting some of your, mine and your Dad's "formative discussions" over the years! I have had the advantage of having the best mentors and serving the best agents the US has to offer - our agents make the job enjoyable, I especially enjoy getting to know them and growing with them and their families as well as business partners. I am a small part of a great team - those who stay in the office and make good on the "road team's" promises are to be commended! While 25 more years may be a stretch...I do have several more good years in me and look forward to working as a team-mate as ASC-USI and serving the absolute best bail and recovery agents in all the land. Thank you all again for your kind words, it is most appreciated; I value your friendships even more than our business relationships..
